Late afternoon from Bycliffe Hill on Grassington Moor looking S over Hebden and Grassington with Cracoe Fell in the distance
Dry valley leading down to Hebden Beck from the road / dam on the Duke’s New Road through the extensive lead mine workings on the Moor.
Walking through the abandoned Medieval Village near Cove Scar above Grassington on the Dales Way looking back towards Burnsall and Thorpe Fell.
Autumn in #Wharfedale, a few miles away in Skipton mist all day. On the #DalesWay and over #Grassington Moor, blue skies and warm sun all day.
Walking away from the relative crowds into a very quiet Mossdale. The curlew, lapwings and larks of spring replaced with an occasional & distant grouse.
