#StoneworkSunday here's a lovely #cow in a stone wall, near #DancingLedge in #Dorsett
Dancing Ledge is a natural shelf of flat rock jutting out into the sea, which once made it a prime site for the quarrying of Purbeck stone – as well as an easy target for smugglers coming from the sea. Now, the sea ledge and its surrounding area is a beauty spot popular with walkers, climbers and wildlife enthusiasts. The waves crash onto the cliffs and then collide with the next wave coming in making amazing patterns

Slower exposure showing the full force of the water
Nearly full moon rising into a pink sky
With Storm Amy battering the northern part of the UK I thought I would go down to the coast to see some decent waves crashing into the cliffs at high tide. There is one place that I know of and that is #Dancingledge in the #Purbecks. #Stunday #EastCoastKin #Photography #Waves #Seascape
