Un écran E Ink rafraîchi à 60 Hz chez Dasung Les écrans E Ink sont une technologie intéressante dont le taux de rafraîchissement reste malheureusement trop faible pour de nombreuses utilisations. Le fabricant chinois Dasung veut améliorer cela et propose désormais le « Parperlike 103 » : un écran E Ink 60 Hz disponible en précommande sur sa boutique en ligne. Image Dasung La dalle fait 10,3" avec une résolution de 1 872 x 1 404. Elle peut être connectée grâce à un port USB-C et est livrée avec un protégé-écran faisant également office de support. Des boutons physiques sont disponibles pour modifier les différents réglages, bien que l’écran reste tactile. La luminosité peut être ajustée avec plusieurs modes de couleur, par exemple pour donner un rendu plus jaune en soirée. Ce modèle peut autant servir à étendre l’affichage qu’à reproduire l’écran d’un PC ou d’un téléphone. Un haut-parleur, un mini-HDMI et un port jack 3,4 mm sont inclus. Si vous êtes intéressés, il va malheureusement falloir attendre un peu : le produit n’est pas compatible avec macOS. Le fabricant indique que l’accessoire peut avoir des problèmes de stabilité et d’affichage qu’il n’a pas réussi à résoudre, et ce autant avec un iPad qu’un MacBook. Le produit fonctionne tout de même correctement sur Windows et Linux. Difficile de savoir si cette dalle sera un jour compatible avec l’écosystème Apple, et il y a peu d’espoir dans l’immédiat étant donné que les modèles précédents ne le sont toujours pas. Les curieux voulant tenter l’aventure pour un PC Windows devront débourser 349 $, auxquels s’ajoute 1,37 $ de livraison (soit environ 309 €). Les expéditions auront lieu dans 3 semaines.
