Why is math such an important issues for social justice. @profnicolej says 1) it is weaponized against blacks 2) black children are disproportionately tracked into the lowest math, and #data4blacklives 1/2
What does evidence/data-based mean? Especially when determination is made against predominantly white datasets. Then we incorporate practices that just amplify the existing inequalities. Evidence-based then becomes a weapon against the marginalized #Data4BlackLives
