I am always loathe to post selfies of something that took a few hundred hours of my life but making the last minute decision to (mostly) finish Daud and head down to Seattle for ECCC this year was one of the best decisions of my life.

Lots of progress on Daud today - shoe covers cut and edges rolled. One bolt pouch wet-molded (cheating with these due to timing), resized gloves pre-beeswax treatment, and facings for the waistcoat armholes.

Daud waistcoat WIP. Had to custom airbrush the leather on both the outer and the button-holes binding and hand-paint the buttons (one coat of clear nail polish, three ink passes of silver, another coat to seal).

Not me, being chuffed AF about nailing the proportions on Daud's waistcoat. (The glove-tan outer is wrong side up there so I could faff markings without screwing up the finish and the belt lengths are left over from Eisenhorn).
