fun day at work! an apprentice carpentry crew from POIC in #pdx built us 36 planters (out of restoration juniper!) and helped us plant them out to demarcate our 6 week pop up plaza @ 7th & Sandy for people. they loved getting to do the planting and we loved their goofy good natured vibes #depave

Lethbridge has wide roads, with a lot of room for cars to speed and get into collisions. How much is the maintenance of those roads? How much does it cost us in emergency services each time our Emergency services are deployed to collision scenes? Is there a way to reduce the costs? #Roaddiet #depave
Every little bit helps so keep planting pollinator gardens and depaving wherever possible. If you know a good place that could be turned from paved to planted, there are are #depave organizations in many states that can help you. Volunteers spend the day depaving - fun & community building events.
