Anti-Trans Activists are now asking the same DOJ that settled the Wrongful Death lawsuit brought by Ashli Babbitt's family for $5 Million to settle Layton Ulery's #DeTransLaw case.

Ron Miller, co-founder of Campbell Miller Payne, the Texas law firm founded solely to litigate detransitioner lawsuits, passed away recently after being diagnosed with Brain Cancer last year.
The firm is now down to 2 attorneys as Jordan Campbell left to join the DOJ last year.

Ruling in Paul Garcia-Ryan's case against Callen-Lorde. Judge granted both the US Motion to substitute as Defendant, and having done so, Dismissal w/out Prejudice for lack of subject matter jurisdiction.
He now has 30 days to re-file his complaint against the US pursuant to FTCA.
I finally read the Brief against Reconsideration and looks like NC Supreme Court has ruled that the State Constitution prohibits the General Assembly from retroactively destroying the vested right of immunity once the statute of repose expires. Sounds like Prisha Mosley’s Appeal is SOL. #DeTransLaw

In my personal opinion the worst malpractice Prisha’s experienced is having attorneys who convinced her to appeal her cases dismissal.
Having now read the deposition Prisha’s referring to, she’s definitely going to end up regretting that the appeal made it publicly available.
Less than a day after the ASPS released their position statement, Chloe Cole's legal team filed a Declaration from plastic surgeon John Perrotti citing it.
Given John Perrotti is an expert witness in multiple #DeTransLaw cases, one has to wonder if he had a hand in crafting the position statment.
#DeTransLaw Update in the Garcia-Ryan v Callen-Lorde case:
Oral Arguments were held yesterday on the Motion to Substitute and Dismiss.
Garcia-Ryan's attorney is trying to argue that assessment of internalized homophobia as a safety measure is generally accepted standard of care to prescribe HRT.

The hearing does NOT apply to the other 2 sets of Defendants whom have had Motions to Dismiss along with Sanction Fees Granted.

Chloe Brockman (aka Chloe Cole) attempts to conflate her case with Fox Varian's by claiming she too had undiagnosed Body Dysmorphia.
The main issue in the Varian case is that Einhorn's Letter of Support for surgery diagnosed Fox with Body Dysmorphia instead of Gender Dysphoria.

Hearing on Motion for Summary Judgment took place yesterday in Luka Hein v. UNMC.
Next Status Hearing is set for 5/4/26 so hopefully we'll have a ruling on this Motion by then to see if this case proceeds to trial.

Ben seems unaware there's a 3rd #DeTransLaw case that alleged discrimination in violation of Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act.
That claim was not only Dismissed at the Trial Court, but the ruling was then affirmed at the Court of Appeals and is currently in front of a State Supreme Court.

On Friday a Washington Judge granted Planned Parenthood's Motion for Summary Judgment in the Darlene Skane Case.
This follows the Voluntary Dismissal of another Defendant back in September.
Very Important #DeTransLaw Update on the Varian v. Einhorn verdict.
One of the questions posed to the jury was whether the surgeon, Dr. Chin, provided appropriate information before obtaining consent on Fox's behalf for top surgery.
They unanimously voted YES, that proper consent was obtained.

A reporter from the Epoch Times (I know) is attending the Fox Varian trial and states the case against Dr. Einhorn largely hinges on his legal accountability for writing Fox's Letter of Support for Top Surgery, which her lawyer has asserted was actually a Referral Letter.

Shawn and Karen Towe have settled their Wrongful Death Lawsuit against the US (who substituted Cherokee Health Systems after they were deemed an employee of the Public Health Service).
They were both vehemently unsupportive of their Trans child when they died by suicide.

Camille Kiefel has settled her lawsuit just 2 days before a Hearing on 3 Motions for Summary Judgment were set to take place.
The case was set to go to Trial later this month should the Motions have failed.

A detransitioner lawsuit originally filed in 2023 is going to trial this week.
Strangely there is absolutely no publicity surrounding it likely due to the Plaintiff being very unassuming and she's represented by a personal injury attorney.
