Deadlocked Syndrome comic page 92: Ace Hardlight and Cienna Aries bump into each other unexpectedly, Cienna screeches in panic and reacts swiftly- Cienna: "BACK OFF!!!" she yells while spraying Ace in the visor with her glass-cleaner. Ace is caught off-guard.

Deadlocked Syndrome comic page 93: Ace Hardlight: "Damnit!" "Could you not-" "Freak out- and calm down..." "...for just ONE second?!" He snaps, snacking the glass-cleaner off her and slamming it into the table nearby. Final panel had to be censored due to Bluesky thinking Ace's assets are 'adult content' even though they clearly aren't, especially in this context.

Finally posting two of my favourite pages from the comic, had to censor one of the panels though or else it'll get flagged lmao 😂🍑👀 (not even joking)

Ace Hardlight captures the kids, Eugene and Vernon. Ace: "You two shouldn't be in here. It's dangerous!" Eugene: "AHH I'M SORRY!!! Please don't eat us!" Vernon: "LET US GO YOU DORK! WE DIDN'T NEED YOUR HELP!!!" Ace simply looks on with the most unimpressed and annoyed look he could muster at a time like this.

Ace sighs in annoyance, ignoring the kids words and moves on from the weapons testing facility. Vernon: "I HATE YOU, YOU SHOULD TOOL! I HOPE YOU DIE IN THE BATTLEDOME!!!" Eugene: "We're gonna die..." Ace walks on while Eugene sobs and Vernon yells all sorts of abuse towards Hardlight, who simply ignores him. Vernon sure has a lot of balls for a tiny kid, huh. Good thing Ace doesn't like to harm children...

Deadlocked Syndrome comic page 84 Eugene: "OH NO... it's ACE HARDLIGHT!" Vernon: "AHH, HE'S GONNA KILL US!" The kids run away as quickly as they could. Vernon: "Quick, RUN!!!" Ace Hardlight effortlessly lunged out to grab the both of them before they could run any further.

Deadlocked Syndrome comic page 82 Vernon and Eugene rush over towards the Arbiter, completely oblivious to the danger they've put themselves. But Ace makes it just in time, witnessing this and saying... Ace Hardlight: "The HELL?!" He rushes in to try and save the two children.

Deadlocked Syndrome page 80. Both Eugene and Vernon arrive in a huge weapons testing facility, excited by what greets them. Vernon: "Whoa! This place is so cool! Look, it's the Dual-Vipers!" Vernon: "OH! And look at that! The B6-Obliterator with the Napalm mod!" Eugene: "Okay that is pretty cool..."

Deadlocked Syndrome Page 77 : Featuring Eugene and Vernon (from Ratchet Deadlocked) sneaking down a hallway within the DreadZone station. Their designs were altered a little, since the beady eyes they originally have don't really suit my art style. Script Eugene: "Are we there yet?" Vernon: "We're almost there!" Vernon: "We gotta check out all these totally rad weapons that the gladiators use at DreadZone!"

This drawing marked the first time I drew Ace and Cienna since around 2017-18, it was a 5 year hiatus since I had worked with Ace and my Deadlocked comic, which is why this is quite a significant piece for me to have drawn.

A reference sheet for Ace Hardlight (as a teenager) for my fan-comic, Deadlocked Syndrome. I gave him a different costume design because he used to be part of a team of Superheroes, and I headcanon that he didn't always have the same outfit that he did later on. His time at DreadZone during the first season was very rough, because of what happened to his home planet and being shunned by the media & everyone non-stop. Even the other heroes (contestants) were against him. He fought alone, without any support from anybody. But he pushes on, determined to succeed and get out of DreadZone. His popularity starts to grow as he rises through the ranks... and his hate towards other heroes starts to rise as well...

Finally got around to finishing up this reference sheet for a younger Ace Hardlight, since he'll be appearing in some flashbacks in the upcoming comic episode(s) 🔥

Dallas: "So, the time has come for two of our highest-ranking gladiators to come face-to-face, mono a mono, in this epic showdown of the ages!!!" (Dallas Wanamaker & Juanita Alvaro watch on, while Juanita herself blushes at the sight of someone down bellow...)

Dallas: "There in the spotlight, down in the arena, we have the fearless, undefeated, four season Grand Champion. Standing in at an impressive 9 feet and weighing in at just shy of 800 pounds... Exterminator Extraordinaire... ACE HARDLIGHT!" Ace Hardlight stands proudly in the Battledome, ready for battle.

Juanita: "And over in this, uh.. corner.. we have this 'so called Super Hero' who hails from planet Kerwan." "He's an unimpressive 7 and a half feet, 450 pounds or.. whatever. (which he's probably lying about.)" "Compared to 'The Great One', the unimpressive, unremarkable... QUATERNION X!!!" (Quaternion X stands face to face with Ace Hardlight, with Merc & Green at his side.)

I work so hard on my comic, there's no way I'm not gonna post some of the pages here! Here's a few 'filler' pages I had made for Episode 2 of #DeadlockedSyndrome last year, for the comic dub!
