The National Deaf LGBTQ Awareness Week Art Challenge is back!

This year, the art challenge will begin on Monday and is being led by Deaf nonbinary artist, Kellie Martin.

We invite Deaf queer and trans artists of all skill levels and ages to create art with us during this fun and inspiring week.

This year’s themes:

Monday, April 7: Resistance 
Tuesday, April 8: Solidarity 
Wednesday, April 9: Pride
Thursday, April 10: Joy
Friday, April 11: Celebration

You’re invited to participate daily or just on those days you feel inspired to create art.

Reminder: Your art should be original. Please don’t use AI to create or enhance your creations. 

Also, don’t forget to use the hashtag #DeafLGBTQWeek when posting your art so we and others can find it, feel inspired, and reshare it.

Yes! A #DeafLGBTQWeek art challenge is taking place this year! It will be led by Deaf nonbinary artist Kellie Martin of Seattle, WA!

The art challenge will take place from Monday - Friday during National Deaf LGBTQ Awareness Week (aka #DeafLGBTQWeek). Daily themes will be shared soon.

Who can participate: Deaf, DeafDisabled, DeafBlind, hard-of-hearing, late deafened queer and trans artists of all ages and skill levels.

All artwork should be original and not AI-generated or AI-enhanced.

When posting your art:

1. Please tag @deaflgbtqweek and use the following hashtags with your post:
