Started this last year and procrastinated against finishing it until today. Took a while to land an a non "main character syndrome" breathing style and design since I didn't want to go overboard... at least I hope I didn't. I can't tell yet

left side displays a 2023 drawing of my character, Hasegawa Ushio. In this older version, he has flat longer dark hair, green colored with white stripes and several layers of a haori. If the voice translation didn't pick that up, it is a japanese style robe, and he has three of them on. He has a plain, brooding scar on the left side of his face. He looks miserable. The 2026 version of this character shows a completely different personality. More confident, and distant with a smile rather than a glare. He has permanently upturned eyebrows to make him look perpetually curious, his posture and arms are folded. His skin is a little paler, and he has sickly eyebags under his now turquoise eyes. If you imagine his hairstyle, think of a bird spreading its wings upward, which is unusual but stylish. He also now has two long white tassel earrings in his redesign.
