Multiple sets of images in a collage. They depict sections of the game, with 3 panels per section. Going left to right, top to bottom, they are: The Worlds That Were, The Weapon (which is firing), The Fool (giving a speech), The Worlds That Are, The Great And Terrible Nature, Your Companion And You, and The Miracles.

This unit finally finished all the page art for its current game project, "My Hands In The Fates Of Gods"! The game is inspired by several animated films, including a handful of Ghibli works, and this unit tried to capture the vibe of the art in them!

Work in progress game cover. Title at the top. Below are five figures. From left to right: a worm-like doomsday weapon, a woman in a cartoonish set of armor with a staff, a robot and a man both running, and the young woman. The fill for each is a solid colour and is offset from the outlines. Below is the subtitle "A Game Of Endings By Deric Bindel".

Slowly working on the cover for my next game, tentatively titled "My Hands In The Fates Of Gods", where you play as a plucky young girl at the end of her adventure, trying to stop the world from being utterly destroyed. Its inspired heavily by the ending of various Ghibli films.

A set of 5 vertical designs. Each has text written in different versions of gridCIPH, and a logo at the bottom. From left to right as follows. The first is a gold and graphite design with swooping curves. It says "the core essentials" and has a gear logo. The second has diagonal lines of red and orange. It reads "DownTown" and has a double downwards triangle logo. The third has complex industrial designs of light and dark gray. It reads "Haydrian Mass Foundries" and has an industrial fan logo. The fourth has swirls of light blue on indigo. It reads "The Shattered Pillar" and has a logo of a broken pillar on a floating island. The last is a complex set of futuristic scifi designs of cyan and blue. It reads "Nexus" and has an abstracted robot logo.

Had a lot of fun as always making art for this setting guide, here are the section markers I made to help the reader get a vibe of what each place is like!

An action shot of an eight legged mech, standing on its hind feet, firing a supersized projectile at a silhouette of an ancient Roman figure. There is a large reticle over the figure, extending out with larger concentric circles. The projectile has a jagged cloud behind it. At the bottom is the text "Management vs Mike Townsend, ft Octo-Thumb".

Finally got the go-ahead to share this! In December 2024, I was commissioned to do some #blaseball art for part of The Garages' final farewell gift!

Here is Mike Townsend, giving Management, The Coin, a big final fuck-you farewell, TRIPLE ENCORE style!

A bipedal robot in a vaguely humanoid shape. He has a sleek head that has a fin spike on top, with the front dominated by a single "eye". The arms are segmented, with powerlines running in the joints, and both end with triangular three-pronged hands. The chest tapers inwards to a large ball and socket joint making up the waist, connecting the chest and hips. The legs are roughly digitigrade and resemble blade-style running prosthetics, with large thighs connecting to thinner calves, which then exted down into narrow prongs. The feet had small hooks extending up. He is wearing a large red scarf billowing in the wind, contrasting his overall blue colour scheme.

A collection of 6 sketches of people called "Fleshworker", numbered 1 through 6. Number 1 lacks ears and a nose, and has tiny specks of eyes. They have a drawn-down chin, with electronics stuffed in the extra mouth space, and are wearing a button down with a tie. Number 2 has big blank eyes, a bolted on mask covering the mouth and nose, and a device fully covering the ears. There are tubes connecting to the back of their neck, and they are wearing a button down and tie. Number 3 has mechanical extensions from their eye sockets, lifting the eyeballs out. They are lacking ears and a lower jaw, with tubes constructing their neck. They have a open chest wound exposed by their dress that has multiple tubes leading in and out. Number 4 has a plate covering half their face, and a tube feeding into the side of their mouth. There are tubes emerging in and out of their neck, and they are wearing a sweater vest, shirt, and tie. Number 5 has a mechanical robot head stuck on the neck, the lower jaw bolted on. The upper skull is visible, dangling from behind. They are wearing a collared shirt. Number 6 has a plate suggesting cameras covering their eyes, a missing nose, and intact ears. There are plates and holes on the top of their skull. They are missing the lower jaw and are wearing a blouse.

Been sketching some fucked up people for my next game project, currently titled "We Live Such Pleasant Lives", about eeking out small, pathetic, and petty lives in a post-cyberpunk world! (Post in that the punk is completely gone) #DericArt

The cover is divided into two sections, an upper and lower section. The lower section is a grid with multiple objects placed on it. There are square and rectangular areas covering small sections of the grid, and multiple bomb and crosshair icons scattered. The upper section features a large stylized infographic depiction of a futuristic hunter with a gun facing towards a large creature arcing its back and displaying its spines. Between the two sections is the title text "The Creature And Their Hunter" and a subtitle "A Tactical Game Of Predator And Prey".

Just finalized the cover for my current game project, The Creature And Their Hunter! Gonna be going into a second round of playtesting soon, hope to have it released before the end of November! Its a 2-player asymmetric tactics game, a little like a hybrid of minesweeper and battleship! #DericArt

The words "Stephen King Has 10 HP" staggered, in large font. A stylized hazard sign figure is falling. Three different cars, drawn from above, are converging on the figure.

The text "weakless universe" with the tagline "a web of lore". A square is surrounded by three small pins, all pointing towards the square. These pins are further connected by three more pins, forming an overall triangle shape, resembling an abstracted conspiracy map.
