Some of Disco Elysium's dark humor is on the nose and "wacky", it is the understated lines I enjoy the most.

"Don't be afraid, it's just your face. It's not as if anyone is going to *see* it."

I’ve yet to see people point out how Harry at the start of the game has failed a suicide attempt. It’s not just a drug+alcohol fuelled breakdown, but an actual suicide attempt. Ironically it’s the alcohol that saves him; he’s too drunk to properly hang himself.

I’ll probably post a lot of Disco Elysium spoilers and discuss heavy themes so I’ll tag those with #DEspoilers so people can mute/block the posts.
