Mikroe and Renesas Partner on MCU Development Tools MikroElektronika (Mikroe) has entered into a multi-year agreement with Renesas Electronics Corporation to support development tools for a wide selection of Renesas microcontrollers (MCUs). Under the terms of the deal, Mikroe will deliver tool support for 500 of Renesas’ most widely used MCUs, as well as future device introductions. As part of the collaboration, a dedicated Planet Debug remote board farm has been launched for Renesas devices, allowing engineers worldwide to debug firmware remotely without purchasing or maintaining physical hardware, marking a first-of-its-kind deployment for the Renesas ecosystem.
