Court of Appeal rules Facebook owner can be sued in Kenyan courts over layoffs by contractor The Court of Appeal has upheld the authority of Kenyan courts to hear a case brought by 186 Facebook content moderators against Meta.

For some time now, #DiPLab has supported and worked with African content moderators fired by Kenyan platform Samasource. There is some good news: the country's Court of Appeal ruled that Meta can be sued over these layoffs in Kenyan courts. www.thecitizen.co.tz/tanzania/new...
