I lost my dad 28 years ago and my mom this past Thanksgiving. As hard as those losses were, and sometimes still are, I will forever be grateful that we didn't lose them piece by piece, day by day. My heart goes out to those dealing with #dimentia, sitting next to a loved one who doesn't know them.
