- 4,006,400 persons with 'disability certificates' lived in Poland in 2023 according to the Polish Statistics Office
- Eurostat states that 24,4% of the Polish population (over 16 years old) has 'activity limitations' (with and without 'disability certificate') . 26,1% of women have a disability and 22,3% of men have a disability.
Only 32,8% of persons with disabilities of working age are employed.
Regarding education of persons with disabilities: 43,4% only have lower education; 24,9% have upper secondary education (generally means high school or vocational education); 13,7% have tertiary education (university or similar)
