The yellow stripe represents cognitive and intellectual disabilities. The blue stripe represents mental illness. The black background represents the mourning for those who have died not only as a result of their disabilities but also to ableist violence, eugenics, and suicide.

This week #GeneralHospital referred to someone acting stupid as “blind, deaf, and dumb,” a term that is incredibly outdated and offensive.
To be clear, MANY lovely people are involved in that show. This was just a bad choice.

Recovery from #PulmonaryEmbolism sucks as much as the experience. The clots in my lungs move & fucking hurt so bad.
