My spare tire rack on my #LandRover #Discovery2 started cracking. I drilled holes at the ends of the cracks, then welded the seams Front & Back. I painted over the welds, then added foam washers between the rim and rack to prevent future problems.

#LandRover #Discovery2 leaky sunroofs!!! Catch trays have drains on one side, if you park uphill the wrong way you will get leaks. I welded front and back drains on both sunroofs and connected all drains so they all have access to downspouts no matter how you park. Pretty proud of this solution.

Prototype front seat armrest caps for my 2004 #D2 #LandRover #landrover #Discovery2. The original were simple black caps and I only had one, but these are more fun. Will print some high quality versions now that the fit is right.

More #3Dprinting of car parts or accessories. These sleeves will keep my beverages from falling out of the ridiculously oversized cup holders the #landrover #discovery2 came with.
I travelled to Seattle for work, alone in my hotel I browsed the local Craigslist, saw this #landrover #Discovery2 #D2 It was in impeccable condition. Machined heads new head gaskets, lots of new parts and very well maintained interior. So I drove it across the country in about 3.5 days.
I redid the headliner in my #discovery2 #landrover. The original headliner was 300 uncut, but this very nice felt was $24 at Johan's Fabric's. #D2 headliners are min 64" wide so it's very expensive to buy and alternatives are rare.
Added a charge port for backseat passengers. Practicing some #3dprinting of #autoparts to #hack my #landrover #discovery2 #d2 #DiscoveryII
Total cost was < $20, except buying the printer.
