I think #Terry_Pratchett saved #literature. He made the comic respectable again. Modern writers killed the #Divine_Comedy in fiction. Comedy can be big & absurd like "The Luck of Barry Lyndon" or "Don Quixote" or "Gargantua & Pantagruel". Humiliation & death last forever.
