I led the hosting effort for #DjangoCon US 2016, an amazing experience. The team is wonderful to work with. I got to know the Django community incredibly well.

It's a great service, and a boon for one's career. I'd be willing to advise, but not lead, an effort to bring it back to #Philly!

A Beginner’s Guide to Post Conference Depression One thing I noticed at PyCon Africa was this seemed to be the first tech conference for a lot of the people I spoke to. As such, I realized folks may not be ready for the VERY real “post-conference depression” that often sets in. So, let me explain and try to offer some advice.

Well, my “mild” flight delay turned into 3 hours. For a 2.5 hour flight.

But, I’m finally on a plane.

Another #DjangoCon ends. This time with a Covid scare and a mild flight delay.

With the storm rolling in over ORD, the delay was NOT a surprise. But, I’m at my gate and “relaxing”.
