Create the extinction symbol where people will see it. This one I made out of litter I picked up around our campsite at #Glamis. I recycled everything possible and properly disposed of the rest.

Fiesta Island, San Diego. I found a Virginian tiger moth (Spilosoma virginica) caterpillar walking near the shore. I relocated it to plants in the middle of the island, where it would be safe during pupation & I picked up a bunch of trash that day. #BeKind #PleaseDontLitter

Discarded litter. Part of a butane lighter, plastic zip ties, bottle caps, parts of a child's sand toy, and a plastic 6 oz water bottle that has been in the sand so long the plastic has begun to degrade.
