#PleaseDontLitter. When I used to be a dogwalker, I picked up a lot of batteries like this in that neighborhood off University Ave. These were storm-drain adjacent, just waiting for a little rain☠️. Luckily, I found a computer repair place on that block that always took any I found for recycling.

Can you spot the clove cigarette butt in photo 1? Close up in photo 2. We were at Cabrillo National Monument. How on Earth someone tosses a cigarette butt while looking out over the ocean at such a magnificent place, I'll never understand.

Fiesta Island, San Diego. I found a Virginian tiger moth (Spilosoma virginica) caterpillar walking near the shore. I relocated it to plants in the middle of the island, where it would be safe during pupation & I picked up a bunch of trash that day. #BeKind #PleaseDontLitter
