#DoorsOpenMKE stop #2 was the former Gimbel's-Schuster's department store on King Drive that is now Thrive On King. Very cool adaptive reuse underway with offices, medical, early childhood ed, and apartments. The former display cases now housing art might be my favorite part. #Milwaukee

First #DoorsOpenMKE stop did not disappoint. Went to Carmex expecting to see vats of lip balm and instead got to hear a guy play the Star Wars theme on the world's largest theater organ. #Milwaukee

This SATURDAY is #DoorsOpenMKE, and it is also EXHIBITION DAY for the new #ConservationPhotography enthusiasts of #mkeriverkeeper! They'll be showing off their images in the Harbor District, at the UW School of Freshwater Sciences from 2-5p! #Milwaukee
