For Gobby, I really wanted to highlight the medieval fantasy vibes since I'm honestly sick to death of Marvel's recent takes on the character being more tech-based and steering further away from Steve Ditko's original design. Big inspiration came from the fantasy video games I grew up playing such as World of Warcraft and Runescape.
For Doc Ock, I really liked the gender-swapped version from Into the Spider-Verse but I wondered what one with more classic elements would look like, and I'm rather pleased with the results. Plus she was just really fun to draw.
Got some sketching done today, did some redesigns of two of Spider-Man's biggest enemies, the Green Goblin and Dr. Octopus!
