Why am I not at all surprised?

The @cmadocs.bsky.social still espouses #DropletDogma.

And has yet to recommend the widespread use of #N95s in hospitals & healthcare settings, in the 7th year of an #OngoingPandemic of an injurious #AirborneVirus.

Once ensconced as president, Dr. Howard's views will be under pressure to defer to the #DropletDogma position that the CMA has taken throughout the pandemic (apart from that 2021 article you cited).

E.g. in 2022, the CMA gave their highest award to Dr. John ("masks cause acne") Conly.

I stand by it 100%: that this new @cmadocs.bsky.social is unlikely to be any different to previous presidents over the course of the pandemic, who all adhered to #DropletDogma; & any IAQ mitigations will directed at wildfire hazards rather than airborne viruses. Yes.

And the date of that article is 2021 (happy to look at the #COVIDIsAirborne article of 2025, though).

We're now in the 7th year year of an #OngoingPandemic, most 🇨🇦 docs don't mask, certainly don't mask with #N95s, don't run #HEPAs, & leave vaccination to do all the heavy lifting.
