In #DBS #DublinBaySouth, we have watched the 2nd prefs. Chu (GP) & Hayes (SDs) both transferring more strongly to Bacik (Lab) than each other. FG > FG transfers are incredibly strong, but Blain (FG) > FF is weak. Yet to see PBP 2nds.
1 FG, 1 Lab, 1 FF and 1 SF still most likely. #GE24 #GE2024

100% tally here in #DublinBaySouth, though a few boxes are being rechecked. Tallying is a fine art & with so many parties involved in the joint tally these days, there are more *new* volunteers, which is great! But also leads to mistakes that we need to check over at the end. #GE24 #GE2024 #DBS

Keigher got 48 votes in the 2020 General Election for #DublinBaySouth. He's only at 16 votes for #GE24 with 95% of the tallies in. This is a BIG collapse in his voter base. Devastating. Expecting a big RTÉ breaking news announcement any moment.

I'm not sure #DublinBaySouth is a done deal. SF look safe, the Green seat is gone with Labour the main beneficiary but the FG 1st pref vote is very anemic looking despite Kate O'Connell floundering - which is bad for FF. Soc Dems could be in the hunt for the 4th seat if Hayes gets Gr/left transfers.
