Even under the rain, the #DublinMarathon was a blast 🔥 A massive thank you to our amazing runners and all the people who donated! Your contribution helps keep GCN a free and independent resource for the LGBTQ+ community in Ireland and beyond 💖
A huge thanks to the 30 athletes who ran Sunday's #DublinMarathon to raise funds for Concern Worldwide and Concern UK.
And a big shout out to the cheer squads who kept their spirits up!
A great team effort.

What a day for #BlackrockAC at the 2025 #DublinMarathon! 🌧️💨
88 members crossed the line — our biggest turnout ever! From first-timers to sub-3:30 speedsters, every finish was a victory. Huge thanks to our volunteers & supporters — the Blackrock spirit shone! 🖤💛
RoadRunnersAC at Dublin marathon, team colours red/white/black, all abilities and age groups represented. The best team🏴☠️
#DublinMarathon is great BTW
➕Good course to run/spectate
Interesting city to see/stay
Cheap enough to get to
Not impossible to enter(👀London)
Big race, well organised
Public support is pretty good
It's fast-ish kinda
Even Expo doesn't suck

A friend of mine was taking photos at the #DublinMarathon today on behalf of the Irish Hospice Foundation (IHF). If you see anything that you like you might make a donation and get the high-versions (or just make a donation to a great cause) flic.kr/s/aHBqjCyvcz
Ercus Stewart, Senior Counsel & Arbitrator, running in #DublinMarathon 35 yrs ago in support of Mary Robinson for President, from her archive @uniofgalwayasc.bsky.social. Vote was 7th Nov in 1990. I wonder if anyone running today was celebrating Catherine Connolly’s win yesterday?!

Well done to all #DublinMarathon runners - you looked amazing! Raising a glass to everyone.
My mini marathon walking in the wrong direction and taking a different route home. Ashleaf to Walkinstown to the Barn to Rialto with oncoming runners then quiet roads back. It rained half the time.

A huge thank you to all the incredible #DublinMarathon runners who took part on behalf of Age Action today!
From our amazing community supporters to our fantastic partners at Aviva and Deloitte, your dedication and energy help us continue to support and empower older people across Ireland.

Dublin Marathon in full swing. Miserable windy weather with rain and 2C wind chill an hour ago.
I had better luck when I did it in 2003.

Woke up on time. On the way into town, looks like an ideal day to run 42.2km #RunningPunks #DublinMarathon
OK #RunningPunks, it’s #DublinMarathon time again. Silently anxious about my level of fitness, nutrition, hydration, footwear, clothing, weather, not getting enough sleep, oversleeping, chafing, travel to start line & everything else possible. Best of luck to everyone doing Dublin tomorrow 🏃♀️🏃♂️🏃🏻☘️
An inspirational visit to the Shackleton Museum was just what I needed today, on the eve of the Dublin Marathon - final pre-race blog now up. Fingers crossed for a great race tomorrow. #ukrunchat #dublinmarathon #running

It currently taking longer to register & get my race number than it will to run the actual #DublinMarathon tomorrow. The queue outside is at least 0.5 km. Good job it’s not raining. If you haven’t registered yet you should probably get in the queue!
It's the BH weekend at last - and conditions aren't looking too bad! While we'll have some rain & showers at times, there should be some good sunny spells in the mix as well 🌦️ Here's Maria with the latest #RTÉWeather #Aimsir #DublinMarathon
