Certificate of appreciation. Since 1934, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's Migratory Bird Hunting and Conservation Stamp (Duck Stamp) has been a vital conservation tool. In its 90-year history, the Duck Stamp has raised over 1.2 billion dollars which are dedicated to conserving important wetland habitats. As part of the National Wildlife Refuge System, these lands are home to hundreds of species of plants, mammals, fish, amphibians, insects, and a myriad of wetland and grassland birds. It's not just wildlife that benefits. Wetlands acquired with Duck Stamp dollars help purify water, aid in flood control, reduce erosion and sedimentation, and enhance outdoor recreation opportunities.
The Junior Duck Stamp Conservation and Design Program has been influencing our next generation of wildlife conservationists and artists for over 30 years. Kindergarten through twelfth grade students in all 50 states, Washington D.C., and the U.S. territories participate in this educational program.
Excited to continue my support for wetland conservation :)
