Birds of Bellingham. Mister Spicy is the cinnamon teal and I'm not sure he would like the other birds in the photos. A crow annoys a gull in another photo. Can anyone identify the fledgling?
A stunning cinnamon colored duck with red eyes and a black bill, foraging amidst the marsh grasses in the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge in Washington state. There's water dripping off its bill and ripples emanating out from the duck disturbing the reflections in the water. I believe this is a male Cinnamon Teal in breeding plumage.
This is, I believe, a male Cinnamon Teal, a bird I've never encountered before, all dressed up in his breeding season best at the Ridgefield NWR.

I met this guy sneaking around a marsh in the Cordata Neighborhood of Bellingham WA. It was during the spring of 2017. I went back a week later and he was gone. Glad I had my camera that day.
And yes, I’m using -er on purpose instead of -ur. I know how the #caturday people be. Also, #CinnamonTeal is the best Teil Young song.
