TBH I was kind of wondering when Frank Herberts Dune would get invoked in the AI/Anti-AI discourse.

(note: it wasn't just mentioned in the sequel, but is a key framework element of the entire #Duniverse, and first mentioned by Herbert in the flagship book)

It is hard to me to conceive Xavier Harkonnen as the hero when I know the atrocious behaviour of his descendants like the Baron Vladimir Harkonnen. #Duniverse
