These two call it the urge and nothing else. They acknowledge it and treat it as something that they have to put up with from time to time.
Xandros is more accepting of it than Lu.
#durgeqotd He doesn't, he lives in a world where violent instincts are needed to keep him, and the people he loves, safe. But he has always been acutely aware of how he loses himself to them when he has power over someone, so he gave his power to orders, to doctrine, something outside of himself.
#durgeqotd It feels righteous; Dirge views The Urge as a divine confirmation for staying in line with a forgotten (non-existent) oath, he doesn't question the source of his power, he can't afford to. When he fails to control it, the shame is his to carry and how The Urge tries to keep him isolated.

For Purgatorio, genuine anxiety and fear. He’s wanted to be rid of the urge since way before the events of #bg3. It’s to the point that despite being an incredibly devoted druid, he refuses to wildshape out of fear of becoming the slayer.

#tavqotd #durgeqotd I tried to describe what tf happened to #Orlaith when the urges got her in the past in a ff, and I would say the general feeling is that of dissociation. I frequently mention the fact she has headaches, gets very confused, that sort of thing. Less physical, more mental I'd say.
