I'm pretty sure some people already saw that on every outfit that Vai wears there are multiple blue glowing crystals, and if there are none he's wearing his rings.
That is actually intentional. He's wearing aether reactive gems that are attuned to him so he can easily check how much-

The only person Vai has ever truly admired and probably ever will, is/was Venat. No one comes close to his admiration for her, not even slightly.

I think I mentioned it before but it's been ages so;
Vais' main scent is Lavender with hints of Aloe vera, Lemongrass and other sweet-ish herbs and flowers.
There's also a undertone of Petrichor that can change to the smell of freshly fallen snow when his aether acts out

When Vai is extremely tired his tail drags on the ground and he's even more slouchy than normal. He doesn't bother to open his eyes to see either and just uses his aether sense to skulk around and everyone around him becomes a glorified pillow to lean on while he dozes standing upright

For Vai it depends on the situation and how the other person behaves. 90% of the time he's mostly agreeable with strangers but keeps his distance. If someone intigues him he can get pretty attentive and clingy though.
And if someone fails the vibe check Vai tries to keep as much distance-

Vai is generally very friendly, if not skittish and awkward if someone comes across him in his private time. If you know him better that also gets the added bonus of his clingyness and his loving side showing up even more.
But if he's focused on his work he's usually quiet and cold.

Vai usually wears lots of long, layered clothes because he freezes very easily. He has no trouble being naked and doesn't really mind it, but he's self conscious about the markings on his skin that showed up when he turned into a Voidsent. And he also prefers to be able to hide his tail
