Yes, @Bianca_Albers, it has been a very inspiring session by Sue Dopson - lots of food for thought on #leadership and to consider it in my context. It's been fabulous & I'm feeling sad that #EIS2021 live is ending. But the conversations (and recorded videos) continue...

Thank you so much @robynmildon. A very side point: Has anyone ever said that you bear a resemblance to Jodie Foster? #EIS2021 πŸ˜ƒ

Yes to recognising that we want to reach the same goals - government and other agencies (amidst some other intermittent goals, #methinksπŸ˜…). Yes to proposing for funding for a longer term! Thank you, @Sandy_Pitcher #EIS2021

It's nice to see the speakers in front of the same blue curtain. Doesn't feel that lonely. #EIS2021

"You can't measure what you can prevent. YES YOU CAN! David Cowan #EIS2021 That is just so encouraging to hear. I can imagine how helpful it is being able to do that. I need to find out more.

Reading the tweets for #EIS2021 made me have a huge sense of #FOMO. But thankfully, I can view the recordings later!

@RuthLevine5 #EIS2021. On co-creation & building #trust, how might we engage researchers who distrust policymakers for symbolically using research, or worried the relationship with politicians might caused them to be/seen to be biased or restricted in how findings are presented?

@AdamMGrant's really talking about performance cultures, while this is about research settings. May make a difference. But it just makes me rethink, especially when RCTs isn't always possible. Or maybe my antenna just went up when the term 'best practices' came up. #EIS2021

#reflections. Gonna say this at the risk of being frown upon: what if RCTs isn't the best practice for the research we're doing and for whomever? Again affected by @AdamMGrant's Think Again - rather than saying best practices, how about calling them better practices #EIS2021

I think it's vital to remember that we do not just do our research, share the data (bad news sometimes) and leave those who are affected to shape up. Or even just to share the solutions... But really to walk it through with them & show that we're invested too. #trust #EIS2021

The lovely baby problem. This sounds too cute to be a problem reallyπŸ˜…@MaryDixonWoods #EIS2021 But good to realise that not all baby problems are lovely. Reminds me of what I've been challenged by in Adam Grant's Think Again - escalation of committment

Gold nuggets for knowledge brokers @ #EIS2021:
Relationships, Environment, Solutions/Stop & Timely! Thank you, @BeckyFrancis7

I suppose Environment can also speak for a relook & rethink into the academic setting whether we are encouraging of brokering/partnership @AnnetteBoaz

#eis2021 Again and again I hear having strong partnerships and relationships with community and stakeholders as we seek to have evidence-informed policy and practice. Absolutely underrated advice.
