In addition, the Trump administration is threatening to do away with Emergency Management Performance Grants ( #EMPG). EMPG grants fund 60-75% of all emergency management staff positions in many offices around the US. Losing these grants would literally decimate emergency management offices in #CA.

#EMPG funds 60-70% of the #EM staff positions at scores of #EmergencyManagement offices across the country. If we lose EMPG grant funding, local EM offices will be decimated.

Talk about a #disaster in the making!
