28 April 2025 Blackout The final report of the Expert Panel on the 28 April 2025 blackout in continental Spain and Portugal identifies the causes of the blackout and outlines recommendations to strengthen the resilience of Europe’s interconnected electricity system. It was prepared by a technical Expert Panel of 49 members, including representatives from Transmission System Operators (TSOs), Regional Coordination Centres (RCCs), ACER and National Regulatory Authorities (NRAs), and was chaired by experts from two unaffected TSOs.

Eihän nyt niin kivasti satu olemaan, että joku käyttäisi EntsoE-APIa (ehkä vielä Pythonilla) pörssisähkön hintojen hakemiseen? Taas ei hintoja tule, vaikka ne on jo NewTransparencyn puolella. Iberian Black-out: ENTSO-E congratulates Red Electrica and REN for the rapid recovery of the electricity systems of Portugal and Spain, and establishes an Expert Panel to investigate the incident Brussel - From a situation of total zero in the electricity system of the Iberian Peninsula, the rapid and full restoration of supply in Portugal and Spain has demonstrated the high preparedness and efficiency of the concerned Transmission System Operators (TSO), Red Eléctrica and REN, with the support and collaboration of the French TSO RTE, as well as the Moroccan utility ONEE.

ENTSO-E is establishing an Expert Panel to investigate the causes of the Iberian Black-out, in accordance with the “Incident Classification Scale Methodology”

Notable the dip in generation in France, but it appears to be a bit earlier than the drop in Spain.
