It is the yearly reminder that the EU gender pay gap remains a persistent reality. Across Europe, women still earn on average 12% less per hour than men, facing a 24.5% pension gap later in life.
This is a woman’s euro. The gender pay gap is real, with women in the EU earning on average 12% less per hour than men. The pension gap is even wider.
Equal work should mean equal pay.
