Well-played draw or not, not scoring almost certainly ends the tie, barring a miracle in Mexico when this team can’t even score in Dallas.

A fairly similar game to the Miami one last round. Nashville will be disappointed not to get the win, especially considering the next leg is in Estadio Azteca. Just not sharp enough in the final third.

The second half has so far been a continuation of the first, which doesn't bode well for Nashville.
Surridge had a pretty good penalty shot, but the ref wasn't interested. Regardless, Surridge hasn't been himself tonight and has missed a couple of opportunities.

To be honest, the fact that Chris Brady played his ass off and looked like prime Iker Casillas just confirms that this game was a total fluke on a night of flukes in MLS and not emblematic of any deeper problem within the team.
I look forward to bashing these guys at the Castle again.

Should’ve been another drab 0-0 road game. The first minute goal was the only interesting thing that happened all match. No reason to panic, but at some point it’d be nice if the home attacking form would show up outside of Nashville. We don’t have the rotated squad excuse this time. #EveryoneN

Chances were limited for NSH and Christ Brady came up huge for CHI.
CHI seemed determined to see this one out and gave NSH very little to work with. The DPs, especially Surridge, looked disjointed.

Well, that’s our worst half of the season so far.
I feel like we never play well coming out of these long breaks and playing into the wind wasn’t doing us a lot of favors either.
Hopefully we get a little more cohesion, a little more effort, and a little more Yazbek in the second half.
