As an EU eastern border country Lithuania understands security threats very well.
With Prime Minister Ruginienė we discussed the shifting geopolitical landscape and 🇪🇺 instruments such as #SAFE, #EasternFlankWatch and #DDI that help strengthen 🇱🇹 and European defence readiness.

Design of the #EasternFlankWatch could consist of:
1) drone wall (detection, tracking, interception);
2) ground defences;
3) maritime security for Baltic and Black seas;
4) space-based situational awareness.
