Transmission 341 Interview with Ebet Roberts Ebet Roberts is a legendary American photographer best known for her iconic documentation of the music scene from the 1970s onward. After graduating from Memphis's Hutchison School in 1963, she moved to Washington, D.C., to attend college. It was there, in a simple elective drawing class, that "something clicked": a sudden, sharp realization that her future lay in art. She went on to earn a degree in painting and soon began selling her work.
