A line of large stones runs through a desert landscape in southern New Mexico.
It’s fun to see old restoration projects still out on the landscape. This stone line near Hatch, NM was likely installed by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s. It may not look like it “worked” but the only green grasses we saw were growing among the stones. #ecorestore #restoration
