You'll never guess.. ok, you will. Yes, I assembled some more...
Assembled Perry plastics, 6 crossbowmen, 3 armoured standard bearers and 3 hornists.
Decided I needed to add crossbowmen to my medievals, and Ecorcheurs uses standard bearers and hornists. The Perry plastics really do make up into pretty natural looking poses. #Ecorcheurs

Ok, these guys got undercoated, wetbrushed, metallic base, flesh colour and started doing padded armour. Going to be quick and dirty. Mainly Contrast Paint

Mmmm I want to buy lots of boxes of Perry HYW minis and mix and match them for various Ecorcheurs retinues, you can't have too many boxes of minis can you?

Followers of the development of #ecorcheurs have been very patient. There have been a number of last minute design changes, all for the better, I have to say.
One of them was a new cover, putting the title of the rules at the top so they can be seen when stacked on a trade stand! #wargaming
Tyring to finish an article for a magazine, describing #ecorcheurs (it's being submitted alongside a scebario for fighting the Battle of Cassel, 1328). It's bizarre, but my (now well-practiced) show-circuit intro just isn't tranating onto the page.
