What does the Scottish word puddock mean?
a frog or toad. Also called (Scot): puddock

This one is inspired from a walk along the #waterofleith. This stretch near Canonmills has branches usually full of leaves, during the summer months you wouldn’t be able to see through to the houses over the water. #edinburghwalks #inkaddict #edinburghoutdoors

This has appeared in Fettes Avenue and the vehicles, including Police vans, appear to be parked appropriately. This street and surrounds are used as a motorhome park all year round and the pavement is regularly blocked. Do we know who is enforcing this notice? #Edinburghwalks #parking #Edinburgh

Met a beautiful tree on a walk in a well hidden arboretum on Sunday. We didn't look it up but thought maybe it's a lime.

It is indeed a great gastro pub with an interesting history. Known as ‘The Jungle’ to Leithers in the 1960’s and 70’s, so it has definitely changed its mood, cuisine and clientele since then. #Leith #edinburghwalks

Security camera from the 21st C.
A flashing blue light from the 20th C. for the Hunter Square cop. Before police radios, if that light flashed the Officer would return to the police box as there was an important message. #edinburghwalks
