First and foremost we are a charity run solely by volunteers. Not a single person is paid for the work they do including Trustees. When we ask non members for a donation for assistance with reports that money goes directly back in to the home education community. It pays for legal advice, it pays to keep our helpline and website running, it pays to keep us running so that we can keep helping you as we have done for fifty years. When we check your reports we check content, grammar and spelling. We advise on how best to use what you are doing every day to show progress. Our report checkers are dedicated and trained and can spend multiple hours on one report. Whilst many groups no longer offer report checking we continue as we realise how valuable and necessary this support is, particularly with the CWS Bill on the horizon.
