County approves advertising bids for landfill gas pipeline upgrades and cell expansion tied to RNG project Elkhart County commissioners approved advertising bids for upgrades to the landfill gas collection system (increasing header pipes from 10–12 inches to 18–24 inches to improve flow for an RNG facility) and for a roughly 20-acre cell expansion to be bid in two 10-acre pieces; a pre-bid meeting is set for Dec. 16 and bids will open Jan. 8.
