What a beautiful end to our Tokiyuki. Getting to go out on his own condition, not letting his largest enemy win. It is sad to see him go but we knew it was coming. It was a happy ending.

Not loving the dance animation for #Wandance 🫤
They’re using that weird CG combination that makes the characters look soulless. They used it in #ElusiveSamurai for horse-riding and it also looked quite bad.

I bought the #elusivesamurai box set when it went on sale and only got to open it now because my work week has been so busy. I know it was coming with a LOT but it’s only hitting me now it also includes the OST too. There’s design, key animation booklets, a nice ep highlights booklet.

Tokiyuki and the Prince getting ready to play the drums... badly.
A fun little chapter before the climax of the arc. There was some good comedy here and we got a bit of lore for Kojiro, although I don't know what its purpose is (maybe to tie him into a real historical figure)?
An ok chapter.

I know it's meant to be a siege but this might be the longest a single battle has gone in this serious, and yet there is very little tension. This isn't a bad thing mind you, I'm impressed at how the author has balanced war and day-to-day vibes at this point.
