#Emberleaf sieht niedlicher aus als es ist. Ich würde sagen ein anspruchvolles Kennerspiel. Komplexer als z.B. #Everdell auf jeden Fall. Ich hab da echt gebraucht um reinzukommen. Nicht wegen der Komplexität an sich sondern aufgrund der Möglichkeiten im Spiel. Die Verzahnung ist tricky. War geil! 🤗

Zur späten Stunde habe ich dann noch einen Blick in #Emberleaf geworfen. Erste Ziptüte aufgemacht und ähm ja seht selbst. Ärgerlich. 😮 Schon jemand Erfahrung mit dem Ersatzteilservice von Skellig Games gemacht? Bin aber positiver Dinge, hatte bei anderen Verlagen bisher eigentlich noch nie Probleme.

Got a request to teach Emberleaf for game day and had another good game. The new players really enjoyed it and I think the game is going to see some staying power at the table! #boardgames #emberleaf

We got to teach #Emberleaf again and this playthrough felt more coherent than our first game. Still quite tricky to figure out how you want to chart your path to victory, but that just makes it a more fulfilling game overall.

Sunday game day gave another play of Emberleaf! One of last week’s players liked it so much, they had bought it and wanted to play again. Had a much better idea of what I was doing this time, plus added in the expansion material from the Kickstarter, and had a lot of fun. #boardgames #emberleaf

Got my copy of Emberleaf to the table for the first time yesterday. After reading the rules, I wasn’t sure there would be enough substance to it beyond engine building with the sliding cards. Happily I was proven wrong! Enjoyed the game and look forward to trying it again. #boardgames #emberleaf

Tonight's game for #Boardgame night is a new Kickstarter game called #Emberleaf. It's really fun, and easy to learn, but I feel it will take lots of time to master! The subtleties in recruiting critters to build your deck are extremely nuanced and take getting used to.
