Of the many folk explanations for the shape of the Purim treat Hamantashen, one is that Haman wore a 3-cornered hat.

Circular illustration made up of flat colors - blue, red, orange, light orange, black, and brown. In the center is a Shiba Inu face with a fierce expression. She’s biting on a golden crown. Around her is the phrase “Sic Semper Tyrannis,” and underneath is the same phrase written in Japanese Katakana.

New work. Deeper explanation is here. www.patreon.com/posts/new-il...

To sum up though, I'm taking the Doge shiba - Kabosu-chan - and making her an anti-dictator/anti-king symbol. "Sic Semper Tyrannis" means "thus always to tyrants" (a dog will bite your crown off you)

3 panel comic.

1. A blond guy in a button down shirt is talking. “I’d name my Super Mario retirement community ‘Nintendo 65.’”
2. Ken Jennings, hose of Jeopardy, stares back.
3. Zoom out to show all 3 Jeopardy contestants. The blond guy is in the middle. He says “Sorry— What is, ‘Nintendo 65: a Mushroom Kingdom Elder Living Center’?” The other contestants have quietly fed-up expressions on their faces.

Panel 1: A room with two alien-like, blob-like forms. One is at a desk taking notes. The other is the instructor at a monitor.

“Welcome to shapeshifter orientation! In this session, I’ll go over the crucial knowledge needed to flawlessly emulate—“

Panel 2:
“—the HUMAN MALE. Now, the body is quite simple - but clothing is a bit more complex. Pay attention closely, because even small deviations can blow your cover.” The blob points to an outline of a male form on the monitor.

Panel 3: Examples of shirts. One has a dress collar for a button down. The other is a blouse with a bigger collar.
“Many shirts have what’s called a “collar.” Be aware of the correct shape for a male shirt.”

“Okay, got it.”

Panel 4: two male heads have bow ties. One wears it on his head, one wears it on his neck. There are a couple fancy bows with “x”s next to them. A checkmark is next to a plain black bow.

“This is a “bow.” It is worn at the top of the body, but not TOO high. Watch out for the shape: It must be this shape, and nothing else.”

“Uh.. sure. Got it.”

Panel 5: Examples of many different types of shows with “X”s next to them: a ballet shoe, platform shoe, sparkling shoe, dance shoe, etc. Another shoe is a plan dress show with a high heel. The shoe with a checkmark next to it is a low heel plain dress shoe.

“Objects called “shoes” must be worn to protect the lowest appendages. However - only a few shapes can be worn. The bottom of the show must not exceed a certain height. Failure to comply will subject you to mockery - or WORSE.”

“Wait, but.. there’s so many fun shapes. I can’t wear ANY of those??”

Final Panel: Two pairs of disembodied legs. One has long-ish shorts, the other has a skirt.

“Tubes are worn around human legs. However, the male may only wear a garment of two tubes. If you are seen wearing only ONE tube, you may be VIOLENTLY ASSAULTED.”

“Oh, come ON!!!”

Panel 2: Beatty: “Wait… she’s singing about ME, ISN’T she?? … Yeah, she IS! This is Ad Hominem in pop music form!”

Panel 3: Beatty listens in consternation.

Panel 4: Beatty: “But- it IS about me! She’s talking about that stuff she says I did! But if I try to refute it, they’ll just say it’s PROOF that I’m VAIN!”

Panel 5: Beatty listens with a defeated look on his face.

Panel 6: Beatty: “You win THIS round, Simon…”

Bottom panel: Beatty is on the phone. “Yo Nick, you hearing this?!”
Nick: “This is BULL**!”

Common Dramatic Principles

A rifle. Chekhov’s Gun: If a rifle is hung in the first act, it must go off by the third.

A pair of glasses. Jane’s Glasses: If a character is wearing glasses, by the end of the story a reason must be found for them to be removed and/or discarded.

An exploding car. Derfman’s External Combustion: If a car crashes, it will inevitably explode regardless of whether or not it is actually capable of doing so.

A pregnant woman. Schemp’s Pregnant Lady: If a pregnant character appears, they must go into labor in a public or otherwise inconvenient place in the final act.

An effeminate looking man with a male-male symbol on his shirt. Percival’s Gay Best Friend: If a gay man befriends a straight woman, the odds that she will be given a makeover approach 1.

An alt-rock styled girl with a high ponytail, boots, messenger bag, and glasses. Magworth’s “Girl Unlike Others”: If there is a female character present who is “not like the other girls” in the first act, it is pivotal for the plot that she undergoes a transformation to assimilate her personality by the third. May also involve “Percival’s Gay Best Friend” and/or “Jane’s Glasses.”

Two outlines of a girl and a boy. The Inverse Miyazaki Praxis: If a boy character and girl character appear together on screen, they must become involved romantically.
