Ryu caught it & has been out for a week. I got it despite having the vax but not as bad. It's literally deadly in our area, & lasting longer than usual.

We're under Foreclosure and will lose our home soon. We're pursuing all options, but my chronic illnesses have us too far behind for an easy fix.

Ironically, we might be on the verge of diagnosis and getting me back to good health. Help us keep standing a lil longer, and hold onto hope? ❤️ #EnberFam

The "good news" for my health issues (close to a diagnosis & fix) hasn't come in time.

The mortgage company is filing forclosure paperwork on us, and will not accept any partial payments since our income is less than expenses.

We lose the house and become homeless within 2 months. 🫠

Duke said that while he's tall enough to use the toaster, my gluten free waffles are too high up in the freezer, and I forbade him from having opposable thumbs.

We've built a t-rex out of legos, a mini bluetooth speaker, made hot chocolate, chased each other with an RC tarantula, turned the ceiling into stars, and changed a car into a robot and spun it til dizzy.

Does anyone else have a "talking" dog? Duke is expressive, but no "words."

Maya, however, mimics words when she wants to get her point across. She does Scooby-esque versions of "dog food," "front door," & "living room." The last one means "someone didn't finish their food, can I have it?" #EnberFam

The drama of all the hidden defects of our house is in #🍋🏠. We need $2k in roof repairs, $1.3k in plumbing, and that's just the start. It's unsellable, we don't have an out, & are behind on payments.

We've had our foster-fail 9 months! He stays still for pictures now. I've had herding breeds before but that amount of Ready Boss quiet waiting in a 75 lb package is something ELSE.

He has a husky's flair for expressiveness when not in Work Mode, tho. His convo skills are entertaining XD

We're going to try a blowout on Ryu's hair. He has 4b hair but wants to try styling it straight. Mostly for cosplay reasons, he's fond of his afro.

Wish us luck, we got pointers from the fam but I've only done my own 3c hair before. I'll probably tag in a stylist for Halloween!

Caught fireflies with the boys tonight. We skipped mowing in May and left our leaves out all winter, so there's Visible Numbers that made it. It's been ages since I saw them all over a yard.

We let them go again as soon as lil C had gotten a good look, so they got back to date night OK.

Dang near got disowned for loving him, but he's the reason I've thrived. Nothing better than a best friend who has your back and guards your heart.
