Cis women are also reduced to their appearance, while men are punished for vulnerability and emotional honesty. Patriarchy narrows what it means to be human and rewards conformity over authenticity. No one escapes its damage. At the center of this system is a lie about beauty. Beauty is not how well someone fits a visual standard; it is how they treat people. A society that values appearance over humanity will always produce harm. Ending patriarchy is not about perfecting gender performance. It is about refusing a system that makes dignity conditional.
