Having Energex misrepresenting what it's doing to restore power supply when people, esp. old and vulnerable, desperately need it, is absolutely unacceptable.

Certainly #Energex must be grilled by #Queensland media for a great number of very substantiated instances of straight out deception and lying to people in SEQ about expected timeframes in power recovery.

If Energex hasn't got the manpower, fine - it should be honest.

But don't talk f***ing shit.

#CycloneAlfred has certainly exposed just how fitful and manifestly inept #Energex is to deal with such a significant weather event impacting on the power grid.

What is worst is Energex is maliciously lying to its customers who ring 131253 about "phantom crews" being at a location when they're not.

What a complete "f-up" #Energex is in the aftermath of #CycloneAlfred

Yes, their emergency crews are run off their feet with restoring power to so many communities.

But Energex is being blatantly dishonest in a myriad of cases saying that its crews are in attendance at a location when they're NOT.
